As we brace ourselves for the last week of school, LASMTA wishes everyone a very happy upcoming winter break with family and friends. We are incredibly grateful to everyone coming together in this organization to improve what we offer to our communities through music education.

During winter break, come out and meet music education colleagues for a chat to talk shop or just to unwind after a crazy semester. Feel free to stay for a bit, an hour, or longer. Your attendance can be documented for salary point accrual.

All morning locations will be over coffee at a Starbucks. Specific locations will be determined depending on who signs up for those times (we'll try to pick a spot that's accessible to everyone).

The next LASMTA meeting is on Monday, January 22 with host Scott Peters at Portola Middle School.

The second meeting of 2024 will be on Tuesday, February 27 with host Michael Turner at SOCES.
