Fall LASMTA Mixer

Join us in the first meeting of the new school year by unwinding over food and drinks with music educator colleagues! Hosted by our retired colleague Mark Johnsen (formerly at SOCES), we will be meeting at his home on Wednesday, September 18 in Sherman Oaks​ from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

This meeting will be hybrid so that those who are not able to come in person can join via Zoom. Check back the day of the meeting for the Zoom link here.

Discussion topics will include:
  • Changes to the Cultural Arts Passport funding guidelines
  • Adjustments to LASMTA meetings going forward
  • Developing an honor band planning committee
  • Discuss upcoming workshop and best practices opportunities
